More About Amy
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master's degree from Fordham University in New York City. I have almost 2 decades of experience working in the mental health field, with the past 9 solely in private practice. I moved to Florida in 2022 from Connecticut, where I lived the majority of my life. I received clinical training at Silver Hill Hospital, a renowned, private psychiatric hospital in New Canaan, CT. There I learned skills in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Seeking Safety techniques.
I use a holistic, eclectic approach to therapy in order to meet the needs of each unique individual. I provide individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, perinatal loss, postpartum depression, addiction and co-occurring disorders and transitional life stresses.
I practice mindfulness and use it with my clients to help evoke a sense of calm, focus and serenity during the therapeutic recovery process.
